Matt is from Roswell, GA and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a certificate in Music Business. While studying at UGA, Matt interned at Thirty Tigers in Nashville, TN and Sony Music Entertainment based out of New York. After graduating, he moved to Nashville and began working at Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

Matt has served on the Board of Directors for SOLID (Society of Leaders in Development) and is an active member of multiple organizations including CMA, AIMP, and CMHOF Troubadour Society. During his time at FSM, Matt has been elevated to Royalty Director and has been named to MusicRow’s Next Big Thing Industry Directory (2022 & 2023).
