Catherine grew up in Chattanooga, TN where her love for music began when she began studying ballet at a young age. Her love and appreciation of music has only grown since then. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Because of her passion for music and those that create it, she realized that she had a huge desire to work in the music industry. She immediately moved to Nashville after graduating to work at the full service business management firm Flood, Bumstead, McCready, and McCarthy, where she worked with marquee recording artists and actors, international touring corporations as well as emerging talent.
In 2015, Moore partnered with Farris and Self to start the boutique business management firm Farris, Self & Moore, which specializes in business management and financial planning services, provides accounting, HR, business management and financial planning services to hit songwriters and producers, major touring acts, and national recording artists. The firm will serve on the foundation of providing value added service through relationship building while offering a personal touch and local feel.
Moore is a member of CMA, ACM, SOURCE (where she serves on the Service Committee), The Recording Academy, CMHOF Troubadour Society (where she serves on the Advisory Board), a SOLID (Society of Leaders in Development) alum, and was honored in the Nashville Top 30 Under 30 class of 2015. She is a member of the Nashville Emerging Leaders class of 2017. She serves as the treasurer of YEP (Young Entertainment Professionals), a Nashville organization devoted to connecting young professionals in the music industry. She is a CFP® Certificant and enjoys the financial planning aspect of her position. She currently enjoys spending time with husband Patrick Moore, road trips with friends, live shows, and being outdoors.
